API DevOps Engineer

Your tasks

API Management responsibilities:

- Consult with internal departments to facilitate seamless integration through APIs.
- Design and develop high-quality APIs, enhancing system interfaces and reducing dependencies.
- Conduct implementation and unit testing to ensure functionality and reliability.
- Operate and monitor APIs to maintain optimal performance.
- Provide 3rd level support in troubleshooting and resolving API-related issues.

DevOps responsibilities: 

- Conception and setup of Azure infrastructure required for effective API management.
- Define necessary infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies.
- Establish and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for efficient development cycles.
- Provision and manage APIs via Azure DevOps Pipelines including builds, automated tests, deployments, and documentation.
- Create and document comprehensive API specifications to guide development and integration.
- Design, implement, and execute unit tests to ensure API functionality and performance.
- Support end-to-end testing processes to validate integrations and workflows.

Requirements

- Proven experience as an API & DevOps Engineer or similar role.
- Strong expertise in Azure infrastructure and services, particularly in API management processes.
- Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
- Experience in setting up and operating automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with API specification documentation and design.
- Knowledge of Azure Kubernetes clusters, PostgreSQL databases, and Redis file-sharing.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams
