Your tasks
- Independent, agile development of a complex, internationally used web application (front end and back end). The web application is used, among other things, to steer our rollouts.
- Adherence to best practices and ensuring high code quality, including conducting peer reviews and setting up automated tests.
- Documentation of the development in the code and in Confluence.
- Proactive analysis of the existing features of the web application and contributions to its technical enhancement.
- Collaboration with other developers, product managers, and stakeholders. - Provision of technical advice and support as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree, or a comparable qualification in the field of IT.
- Several years of professional experience as a full-stack developer in an agile, international environment.
- In-depth knowledge of databases and software development, especially PHP, MySQL, Composer, Symfony, JavaScript/jQuery, HTML, CSS.
- Experience with versioning tools (Git) and cloud technologies (MS Azure).
- Good knowledge of Jira and Confluence.
- Good problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
- Ability to work in a team as well as independently and in a structured manner.
- Good written and spoken English (at least B2).
- German language skills are advantageous.
